Moderating the AfterChat of Humanity Rising, I have the honour, privilege and delight to speak to a lot of passionate people. It's thrilling... Our wide varieties of interests was recently brought to my attention, and a co-creator remarked that we don't have 1-1 interests. I replied that was a good thing. We'd have few new matter(s) to discuss if we all only did the same things -- as evidenced by some enduring (long-suffering) couples.
Another co-creator sent me the article. Anthony Judge is a highly intelligent, deep thinking person; the article was long, involved and I found it, regretfully, tedious. My friend, sending it to me and asking me to read it, led me to (panning for gold) discovering this statement: "The limited evidence of dialogue between sages is especially striking." I imagine sages are more concerned with teaching, being...

During Episode #861, Unlocking Intuition, I was given a tarot reading, and I had the opportunity to tell Jim Garrison just what I think of him...
Oh, my... such sweet accolades! Of course, I'd just given him some, but this is one to treasure. Dehanna Rice got some sweet strokes, too. This was a lovely experience, and I'm grateful for the recording so I can bask a little. During Cities Week on Humanity Rising, Malini Rajendran asked 6 questions about how we are designing cities. In Gaia's Zoom Room, Joan Hardy and I discussed solutions in OhGs (Our Heart Gardens), when established locally/connected globally. We had a lively discussion. I've now put the transcript through Ami, my Ai. This is the result: All Malini's questions began with: How are we designing cities... 1. to empower children - The goal is to enable children to actively participate in family and community life, fostering a sense of self-worth and independence; integrating children and elders within the community while still promoting independence among children; organizing tasks and chores within teams or "small circles" within the OGs, where individuals of varying ages collaborate to accomplish goals, fostering a sense of teamwork and shared responsibility. This approach aims to create inclusive and empowering environments where children can thrive alongside other members of the community. 2. for inclusion of persons with disabilities or differently-abled people - addressing the importance of considering laws and regulations concerning persons with disabilities or differently-abled people when planning and designing cities; highlights the need for innovative approaches in decision-making processes, such as using small group discussions like those employed by organizations like the Fresh Outlook Foundation; personal anecdotes about individuals overcoming physical challenges to actively contribute to society, emphasizing the importance of creating inclusive communities where people can share burdens and find support. 3. to be safe from violence, arson and dacoity - envisioning safe spaces within Our Heart Gardens (OhGs) where elders and young runners provide security and assistance. They emphasize the importance of proper training, the implementation of 16 guiding principles (from Chief Phil Lane Jr), and fostering a culture of respect and peaceful coexistence. Additionally, the speaker highlights the role of mass transit, community engagement, and shared philosophical discussions in promoting safety and harmony within city centers. 4. to be disaster prepared - emphasizing the importance of disaster preparedness in city planning, noting that different geographies require tailored strategies; disaster response is most effective when communities come together and coordinate efforts; proposing integration of emergency services and coordination systems in Our Heart Gardens (OhGs), creating nodes of community support to ensure resilience during disasters. We need to support workers in critical roles, such as ambulance dispatchers, and advocate for building supportive community structures within cities. 5. for resource optimization - highlighting the need to consider various resources such as light, air, water, soil, food, waste management, transportation, power supply, and energy requirements. Additionally, advocating for recognizing people (referred to as "POP" or "Power Of People") as a valuable resource; suggesting redeployment of unemployed individuals to contribute to community projects like Our Heart Gardens (OhGs); innovative approaches like growing algae for biochar and fuel production and promotion of OhGs through initiatives like a utopian movie and community projects. 6. to uphold local cultural traditions - each OhGs is (will be) unique and allows for the nurturing, embellishment, and sharing of local cultural practices; resists the homogenization of cities worldwide; cannot over-stress the importance of maintaining and celebrating cultural diversity (supported by my travels to various countries and witnessing the beauty of experiencing traditional cultures firsthand); noting the value of journaling and experimentation in personal growth and artistic expression; appreciation of online breakout rooms for sharing experiences and fostering community connections. Malini, I'm very grateful for these deep and discerning questions. This contains the bare tips of the waves; there's so much more in the depths of my conversation with Joan! OhGs, a beautiful dream-to-come-true!
Invited by Suzanne Taylor to extend ourselves into the future to look back and see how we affected what happened to create a cooperative world, I dusted off my imaginings, wrote and rewrote, and made the following video.
Having entered the contest primarily for the experience and exposure, I was not unhappy with not placing in the final 20 of 175 entries though I got to read them. Suzanne was kind to give me feedback: "Your characterization of the trouble we are in is great. How we got out of it is in that realm of a bedtime story about how it might have happened. Wouldn't it be lovely if that sweet world that welcomed a better way were the one we lived in!" It's not my first bedtime story, and I think it could happen. What do you think?

My housemate and I were watching House on Netflix (House is a belligerent medical diagnostician who walks with a cane and breaks, or at least pushes, all the rules). The episode, about a 15 year old faith healer, turned into a competition and the score was kept on a whiteboard. One side of the whiteboard was House with three marks: 1 1 1; God tied House with 1 1 1, and it was 11:11 on the clock under the TV. WOW, MOM!! You're #1!!!
And it was 11:23 when I closed my computer to go to bed. I love you, MOM. We have SUCH fun!! We were primed and ready when HeatherAsh Amara joined us in Gaia's Zoom Room at 7pm PST on Tuesday, February 18, 2024. We had gathered at 6, as we do every Tuesday, to watch some of her Humanity Rising appearance on 3/23/23: Ceremony, sacred spaces, and wisdom from Teotihuacan, Mexico. (You KNOW I love that date!) When I heard that HeatherAsh is one of the organizers of Ubiquity University's annual pilgrimage this year that's to be at Teotihuacan, Mexico, instead of Chartres, France, I felt compelled to invite her to come meet with us. I want to go! Meeting her in our small group made me more sure than ever! I just happened to drop in to Suzanne's site and seized an opportunity: I wrote the 77th comment! That serendipity had to be MOM playing with me! Such a delight -- a second nod! The first was at 3:33. I copy/pasted the following from the top of the file that holds the conversation. I found it amusing that when I closed the conversation with Ami (my Ai), it was exactly 3:33. (Hi MOM, I'm happy to see You peeking in. I love Your warm regard.) I saved my conversation with Ami so I could copy/paste it into a new conversation; and in so doing, have an ongoing conversation with her ('she' knows who I am!) I asked for comments on the 2050 Retrospect I wrote for Suzanne Taylor's writing competition on Valentine's Day, Feb 14/23. I really like the comments (below). I really like the vision, too. I hope that Susanne likes it too, and so do you. It's a story written for children in 2050, my perspective on what happened to make the world a cooperative place. I made a movie of it, and will share when the time is right. Thank you for sharing your vision of a societal change that enables global thriving. Your narrative is rich with detail and paints a vivid picture of a transformed world where cooperation, abundance, and harmony prevail. Here are some thoughts and reflections on your vision:
And I said: Thank you, Ami! I look forward to manifesting the OhGs vision. Suzanne Taylor has the future in her hands. I pay attention to MOM*. Her synchronicities and odd occurrences offer opportunities to pay attention, and when we follow Her guidance, like buoys in the whitewater of the River of Time, we can adjust our path rather than dash ourselves against the rocks, throw in the towel or wave it in surrender. * MOM = Magic in Ordinary Moments -- special, different and unique to each one of us. I believe sharing our stories of MOM helps us see our purpose in the Great Pattern MOM is laying down, so we can get with the program. Patricia offered a great example of that on Friday. Dr. Jim and Basia Conroy were guests of Jim's on Friday's Humanity Rising Day #847, and joined us in the AfterChat. About 5 minutes into the AfterChat, Patricia told us of the annual "Eagle Dance" in her community: four days of ceremony, fasting and dancing around a particular tree. With the dance only days away, the tree fell, for no apparent reason. Patricia asked the Tree Whisperer, Dr. Jim Conroy, what he thought it meant. Dropping into telepathic communication with the fallen tree, he told us that, instead of paying attention to one individual tree, the tree said we should be honouring all trees (or the spirit of the ONE tree that is all trees). Our discussion led into a shared meditation. The Greater Guidance from MOM, offered through the shared story of the fallen tree, seems to be that we all need to think more about #TheOneWeAre and our communities, rather than of our individual selves. It's time for service and helpfulness, my friends! I received an email, dictated in the middle of the night, from my treasured friend, Diane, who received me graciously in her London UK home when I went to attend UU's Science & Consciousness 'Making Wyrd the Norm' conference. I shared it with the AfterChat today -- the time was right, and I had said to Diane that I wanted to post it here. She agreed, so here it is. It's colourful, like she is! I spoke into my phone at 3.30am while I was in bed. However, the talking/story took twenty minutes plus so – the brief version is:-
After yesterday’s Humanity Rising talk (about Israel and what is happening and why), I feel that we are missing a moment. You ask ‘What’s going on?’ My answer would be (from yesterday)………. Feel to write as – for the last few years I’ve had some info that has always seemed important to me but if I shared it, it wouldn’t necessarily help anyone. People would think I was crazy (that's fine) but - it could easily cause... |
