DivinationsReading the Tarot for myself, and sometimes for You (the Greater I of which you and I are part), has been a source of comfort and guidance for decades. I used my first deck for 20 years. It was the small round MotherPeace deck. Then The Gaian Tarot came magically into my hands. That story ("Death, Says My Tarot Deck), and others are on YouTube. Now, I use the Fool's Dog Tarot Sampler or Gaian Tarot app on my iPad. Some doubt the efficacy of electronic divination but it works for me. The way I see it, it's not the tool you use (some shaman kill chickens and read their entrails!) it's your connection with MOM that helps you see what's in the cards. Things are (getting?) wild out there, and guidance is good when things are hairy. Offered here are dreams and readings that I've done, along with some others'. |
I wondered, should I post a personal reading here? Then I thought, Why not? My life is a tribute to All That Is and You, #TheOneWeAre. It seems to me that it matters how I behave towards You. I include You in my life because You ARE my life. If we all behaved like that, what would change? Change must happen, as the Kogi say Mother Earth has asked. And so I offer this reading, for me, to You... It's as much for You as it is for me... Question: It is the turn of the year. I desire to know — what does MOM have in store for me for 2024? Spread: Elemental Cross Date: Dec 31, 2023 Basic Issues - Centre 6 of Cups Reversed — setting a tea for a faerie queen in a different way is a lovely prospect. Especially if that Queen is me, or MOM. Or M.E. (Mother Earth). This highlights the power of the imagination. If we use it in a different way, what can we create? Will - Right of Centre 3 of Stones/Earth/Pentacles suggests planning. This is the time for planning, and I can do that. It’s time for it. Strategizing with wisdom (owls) of different kinds around a sacred fire gives access to the Heart and protection of Mother Earth. I think of the video created by the Mamos of the Kogi with Mother Earth's warning. I think then of the need for those who desire peace to organize as well as those who desire destruction. Let us plan well together! Emotions - Left of Centre 10 Swords — I’m ready. I know too much for them to stop me. When I wrote that (last night) I was thinking of my conviction that I wrote in a New Years greeting in OneWorld.Earth: My beloveds, do not forget that we are beings of Spirit, borrowing "the matter that matters to us" from Mother Earth. The learning we derive from our experience on Earth is what we came here for -- we did not come to live forever in the bodies we inhabit. All that happens is woven outside of Time. Please do not get caught up in the dire whirlpools of distress... Flow, and know, the prophecies are coming true, including the 1000 years of peace before us. Your belief helps the Whole, and you as well. Intellect - Above 9 Water — The salmon swimming successfully through sparkling waters signifies to me that our journey leads to happiness! Holding that thought at the forefront of our minds helps keep us together through the whitewater of this coming year. Everyday life - Below The Hermit Reversed — Living like a hermit, for me, is a choice, and not unwelcome. What is it, for you? We are still very aware of the possibility of virulent illness, yet we need to find ways to struggle past that, lest our children's legacy is a fear of the very ones who would be in the realization of their dreams. Without connection, where would we be? Planning how to turn this around would be a good use for our time and energy in our everyday lives. The Secret Key - Bottom Reversed Emperor — ahhh yes, let the Emperor reverse his position and all will be well. How to allow him to change his mind requires planning. Rather than the Emperor toppling, I want Him to decide to turn over all that He possesses to the people. I want to honour Him for His service and have Him stand aside, to take a stand beside the You that we are together, for He is a part of #TheOneWeAre. Together we stand strong and grounded here on Mother Earth. I invite you to consider these cards as if they were drawn for you. Click the "Read More" to see the meanings of the cards as written by the creators of the decks, presented by the Fool's Dog app (link at the bottom). It has been a pleasure to engage in this way and, as is customary and deeply desired, I wish you a very Happy New Year... Basic Issues
Six of Cups (Reversed) from Shadowscapes Tarot. ---------- The Six of Cups is a reminder of childhood innocence, good intentions, noble impulses, simple joys and pleasures. It is not meant to be overly sentimental, but more an urging to remember the open-mindedness of a child’s perspective, and to push back the narrowness that folds in on you over time, with the complexities of life and responsibility. Will Three of Stones (Upright) from Chrysalis Tarot Corresponds to Three of Pentacles ---------- Keyword: Planning The Three of Stones signifies a culmination of your efforts – your planning, hard work and dedication have paid off. This card affirms you've hit on the right plan and to carry forward. The triquetras on the upright stones symbolize protection. There's nothing to fear as you approach the Tree of Life's hidden realm. The journey continues. What hidden surprises await you as the trilithon chamber beckons you hither? Emotion X • Swords (Upright) from Legacy of the Divine Tarot. ---------- Our worst fears are realized. Everything did go wrong, and there is no point in denying it now. The swords don’t just threaten now, but act. The pain and suffering is real. But if there is any positive here, it is that this is as bad as it gets. This is rock bottom; the only way after this is up. Intellect Nine ‡ Cups (Upright) from Animals Divine Tarot. ---------- Meaning happiness, the quest to reach goals leads to satisfaction, emotional well-being If you remain passionate and focused on your dreams, it is possible to confront and overcome seemingly insurmountable situations. With strong vision and will of spirit, you can make your dreams come true. Hardship often precedes true satisfaction and emotional happiness. If we remain steadfast on our journey, the obstacles that we confront may actually facilitate our drive to succeed. Everyday Life IX • The Hermit (Reversed) from Llewellyn's Classic. ---------- Keywords: solitude, introspection, philosophy, meditation, withdrawal, contemplation, wisdom, guidance, seeking, mysticism, privacy, prudence Reversed: introversion, agoraphobia, ostracism, exile, paranoia, loneliness, isolation, extreme withdrawal, self-absorption, social misfit Secret Key The Emperor (Reversed) from Zombie Tarot. ---------- LEADER • CONTROL • ORDER OUT OF CHAOS Viewing every obstacle as a challenge, the Emperor uses logic and common sense to counteract the chaos raging outside the abandoned house you’re holed up in. He may represent an older male in your life or an authority figure whose guidance and protection you count on when others are (literally) losing their heads.
