Monday's EarthStock EcoSpiritual Summit theme is "Women and Youth". Sparkling Conversations will be women talking about the Transformation of Education for Future Generations. One of our number is a Mayan Priestess and she will give a blessing at the beginning; and on Sunday, a blessing at the end. Seeds of the idea were planted in the AfterChat of Humanity Rising, a Zoom Room of another friend of mine, Stanley Pokras. He's been watching Humanity Rising devotedly since the lockdown gave rise to the series of daily webinars hosted by Jim Garrison, president of Ubiquity University (panelist on Tuesday). It's been four years of amazing episodes and events, and it's not likely to slow down any time soon (except for the usual August and December holidays). Jim Garrison is sweeping the sleep from our eyes with his oratory, clarifying choices by asking deep questions of interesting people and offering opportunities to us to develop in myriad ways. "Truth pursued; not truth possessed" is his credo, though he's not shy of commitment, and speaks his mind. It's refreshing to experience his positive vibrations, even when the subject is difficult; integrity and caring is evident in each introduction. It's one of the reasons I started writing Jim's Nuggets.
Sparkling Conversations was also inspired by the name I was given by MOM (the Magic in Ordinary Moments): "SonLight Sparkling on the Waters". That name helped me realize we are each sparkles - (in the eye) of our Father (Sol) on the waters of our Great (more than grand!) Mother (Gaia) embodied within us - and, when we all sparkle together, our beauty will embrace the Sun! I love words and I love love. Poetry with the power of love is "Powetry"! When Michael started talking about Colorado, I thought of the whole month of August with no Humanity Rising. EarthStock is in the 3rd week of August; just about the time I start to get bored. In the AfterChat, we'd also talked about promotion of Humanity Rising; connecting speakers to each other - in the same or different fields; creating interesting content... All that will happen in EarthStock's Sparkling Conversations! And perhaps the network of Our Heart Gardens (OhGs) will be initiated. It's a concept I've been holding for almost 10 years. I could never make that happen, but maybe OhGs is a point of synergy, woven by MOM, pulling us towards the more beautiful future that holds us all in peace and prosperity in a world that works for us all - AND Mother Earth. In that moment with Michael, I decided I wanted Sparkling Conversations and EarthStock in my future, and the experience in my memory, so I stood by my words - and now I'm up to my eyeballs in emails and timezones - show flows and timelines are spinning me in circles! Before I end this post, I want to shine a light on another friend - Lisa Ayres has emerged from my past. She's developed some wonderful skills since I knew her back in the 90s. I helped edit her new book "Healing With Ki". She stepped in as Admin for the Summit and she'll be on Monday's panel. Inspired by the theme: Women and Youth, we will be talking about "Transformation of Education for Future Generations", along with Josette Luvmour, Connie Baxter-Marlow, Tami Hay, and the Mayan Priestess, Nan Claudia Valdes, who will be blessing the entire Summit at the beginning of our Conversation. EarthStock is more than an event – it’s an expression of a worldwide awakening and a maturing of a global movement ignited in the Woodstock generation. That generation, especially in North America, is known for its focus on peace, love, spirituality, sexuality and fighting for rights. Earthstock EcoSpiritual Summit, August 19-25, 2024, is a 7-day global event bringing together various elements into an enlightened narrative. Speakers, workshops, ceremony and art in many forms inspire and empower attendees to activate and articulate their own superpowers. EarthStock encourages both virtual and live attendees to help imagine and build the new Humanity, the new Earth, and the new Paradigm. The EarthStock Generation transcends age, gender, religion, and political orientation. It is the essence of humanity architecting solutions for a more compassionate and unified existence. EarthStock is focused on solutions, templates, projects, and pathways that fulfill our human potential while encouraging a positive relationship with the planet, all its creatures, and each other. This global gathering and broadcast, happening in August of 2024, produced by Michael DiMartino, is the culmination of his career. It all began for him back in ‘92 when he was part of the production team for the United Nations Earth Summit and the Parliament of World Religions. It continued with the World Unity Festival in ‘94 which attracted almost 20,000 people who gathered on the southern rim of the Grand Canyon, synchronistically simultaneous with the unprecedented birth of Miracle, the first white Buffalo Calf on August 20. Both of these auspicious events fulfilled indigenous prophecies of hope and coming change. 30 years later, we are celebrating those events. In December 1999, Michael and musicians and performers from around the world gathered at the Great Pyramid of Egypt to acknowledge the end of the old millennium and the beginning of the new. Five years later, Michael participated in the Imagine Peace Festival which happened at the same time as the United Nations’ International Day of Peace. Then, in 2012, Michael and about 1000 people gathered at the pyramids of Chichen Itza, in the Yucatan of Mexico, to honor the end of the Mayan Calendar and the beginning of this new cycle. The EarthStock EcoSpiritual Summit (this part of Michael’s path) is a public-facing event highlighting the mission of the Earthstock Foundation. The Foundation is dedicated to full-spectrum, regenerative change; and to the creation of an ecosystem that germinates, cultivates, and gives rise to innovative solutions for people, planet, and our future generations. We are identifying the various spokes of the Wheel of Life and uniting Solutionaries to help us collaborate on essential global projects including radical regenerative solutions that go beyond sustainability. The Foundation believes in allowing what doesn’t work to become compost to nourish the innovations that will germinate a positive future. It will help actualize our highest human potential. It's easy to speak of spiritual values, compassion, peace, and unity (and maybe even to achieve them within ourselves), but we must be inclusive of all of our Earthly Relatives to truly co-create a harmonious new paradigm. We do this through conversation and communion with people from other places. Full-spectrum regenerative design involves weaving together spirituality with arts and culture, health and education, ecology, green energy, peace and justice, economics, governance and infrastructure as well as the media, in order to create and sustain real change. The first Sparkling Conversation (though it wasn't called that),
occurred September 22, 2023, part of Unity Earth's Peace Week... About two weeks before that event, I attended a Zoom call with channeler Melanie Beamer. She told me I would be part of a powerful group of 8 people. I thought it must be one of the groups of 8 that Tamsin Wooley-Barker was creating in Jon Ramer's OneWorld.Earth, but I hadn't signed up to participate. I had too much of my own going on. My event, as you can see below, was intended to be only 7 of us. What I did not know, then, was that I would travel to Surrey, BC, to attend Peace Week in HubCast Studios, in person, and meet Danielea Castell of The Listening Field; nor could I have known that Ilarion Merculieff would have technical difficulties so I would ask Danielea, at the last moment, if she would step in and that she would say yes. Furthermore, I didn't know that Ilarion's difficulties would miraculously resolve. Now (May 30, 2024), in preparation for Earthstock EcoSpiritual Summit in August 2024 I'm engaged in a larger challenge. It is not just one conversation -- there will be 7 Sparkling Conversations aligning with the themes of the 7 days of the event. The participants will be past presenters on Humanity Rising; the conversations are intended to generate co-creative sparks among people in similar fields. |
